Sad to see it go-2005 CL65 for sale
1 year/12,000 miles remaining on $0 deductible USAA exclusionary warranty. It is transferable and they cover everything!
Well maintained and Mercedes serviced with 71,000 miles.
In addition to normal service it includes the following:
I hate to sell it but I'm changing jobs and need something 4WD/AWD for winter. 604hp V12 bi-turbo coupe from AMG in beautiful condition. A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, Factory GPS system, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, No accidents, Satellite radio, Very clean interior, Well maintained
Asking $36,000 OBO, no low ball offers

Went to a car show today hosted by one of the local Lions Clubs. This show is the 3rd largest in the state and this year had over 750 cars. As I registered I decided to enter my CL65 in the import class and ended up winning second place.
I also forgot to add that I have a Viseoo MB3 installed in the car.

Still for sale, anyone looking for a CL65 should note all the expensive maintenance work that has been done.

Gone and Done
Well after a 2+ year run the CL65 is gone. It was the most incredible car and at the same time the most frustrating car I have ever owned. AMG created one heck of an engine, too bad the ABC issues took the rest of the car down. We are now a two Audi family.
I can say that I have no regrets and am glad I had a chance to own one and drive it the way I think Ricardo Beck (the man who's name was on the engine) wanted...

I wanted a car that I felt confident I could take out on a track on occasion and the unpredictability of the ABC system (having a hose blow out, constant component failures etc) left me very nervous about taking this car up to 150mph.
From a TCO standpoint the last issue (timing belt tensioner) put me at well over $20k in repair costs (thank you USAA warranty). I toyed with the idea of doing a strutmasters conversion or even parting the car out and using the engine in another car but decided against it.
In the end decided to get a more suitable car for what my use and picked up a Stasis tuned Audi S4 last year and traded in the CL65 on a TTS for my wife. I do find it interesting that on the SL65 black series they went away form the ABC to conventional springs/coil overs.
