FS - 2006 C55 AMG - Original Owner / Completely Stock
Black on Black -- original owner -- LOW miles (55K) -- Meticulously maintained --- near showroom condition -- perfect mechanically
On the fence about selling, but am to put it out there to gauge interest.
Please see very detailed ad here (contains lots of details and 24 pictures).

Asking $20K.
What makes my car unique and why do I think it is worth $20k?
My car has almost never been driven in the rain (maybe 15-25 times in its "entire life"). In fact, for a period of about 7 years it was "never/ever" driven in the rain -- not even once! I have always had other cars to drive so I have used this car only when the weather is clear and I know it is not going to rain. It still has the original wiper blades!
Amazingly reliable (see full maintenance record included in ad). Oil changes and new tires are pretty much the only maintenance ever done on this car. My car has not been in a repair shop in over 6 years. In fact, I think it was only serviced by Mercedes Benz two or three times in its entire life. The beauty of purchasing from an original owner -- you know the full service history.
My car has never been "tracked" and has no aftermarket engine "tune" (good luck finding one that has not been modified with in some way). Stock car (other than cosmetic enhancements) owned and driven by middle-aged accountant.
My car has also "never" been though an automated car wash -- always and only washed by me in my driveway and it has always been garaged (both at home and at work). My car spends very little time outside exposed to sun (basically only when its being driven), which is why the paint and interior is in such outstanding condition.
If you are serious about buying a mechanically perfect and near showroom condition C55 AMG then look no further. Can you find one for less money? Sure you can. However, can you find one for less money (1) from an original owner (2) in the condition my car is in (including almost never driven in the rain), (3) that has not been modified in some way(s) and (4) with as low or lower miles? Good luck trying.
I believe the price reflects the meticulous care I have given to this car over the last ~10 years and the outstanding condition it is in. If you are looking for "a bargain price", you should probably look elsewhere. I have set the price reflecting what I believe is the exceptional condition of my car and it's incredible mechanical reliability.
If it does not go, I'm prepared to keep it (indefinitely). It's a great car (evidenced by the fact that I have owned it for almost 10 years) and I am confident it has many, many years of trouble free driving left in it (many cars on this forum with well over 150K/175K miles).

Can't believe how long you've managed to maintain the car for at such a high level! It does look like it belongs as a new car at the dealership.

Ever sell the car? I'm always on the fence about mine. Funny comments about the rain - but I share your OCD. Mine was in the rain once from being on the dealer lot. Never driven in the rain or snow. Haven't washed it in 10 years with anything other than detailer wax. 19k miles. Completely OCD about sun and only while driving it. Great cars and it takes one drive to change your mind. Although mine hasn't moved 150 miles in 2 years.
