OP, I saw your car in Autotrador or Cars.com a few months back when it was $70k and thought it was high, but then it disappeared for a while and I assume you sold it. The longer I looked for low-mileage 2014's w/ the color and options I wanted, the more I realized how rare anything other than black, silver, or white was.
The haters on here are stupid and considering what MB is asking for higher-mileaged, common-color versions (only 1 being a 507), I'd say you're actually on point, if even a tad low... Hell, there is a guy in TX asking $64k for his 2013, which has a few thousand more miles, is black, and only has PP + a few extra options... It's not even a 507! GLWS. Do wish I had the extra cash, cause $60k is a deal IMO. |

Don't even sweat it. You could ask a million dollars and only the douchebags would ***** about it. Asking price is only an invitation to make an offer. Almost everyone knows that. It's not an effing insult to the entire buying community.

Beautiful car. If you wait about 6 months, I'm pretty sure I know a buyer on here who will need (another) one..... :boink:

I agree I have done my research and you can't even find one mars red with low miles and all the options in the states for sale and you can barely find a sedan 507 on the market in general and in great condition. I have the price slightly higher on cars.com and eBay. I thought I would give the community a shot at a fair price before I just sold to a random buyer. the people who buy theses cars hold onto them and there hard to find. I'm sure the car will sell, to who I can't answer but as long as that offer is at my mark I can care less. if it doesn't hit my mark I have no problem keeping this beautiful car. there always going to be haters wherever you are, esp on the internet where they feel invincible behind their computer screens...just have to keep it moving and tell them to go effff themselves |
GLWS OP. I am very tempted to make you a reasonable offer so we can have his and hers 507 sedans :)

summer is coming lets get this car sold !!!
|
I see it's still on ebay for $65k. No takers?
|
I think you'll be able to move it somewhat quickly under $60k, and if you have time to wait it out, you could probably get $65k+ from a cash buyer that wants those particular specs. A lot of cash buyers that want a specific car in a specific configuration that plan to buy and hold it indefinitely don't care about a 10% premium in the sale price. Plus, it's no different than hiring a broker and paying them 10% to find a car. There is a dealership in the BMW world that caters to buyers that are looking for unique older ///M cars. The asking prices are high, and a lot of people complain or roll their eyes at the prices, but they seem to move a fair amount of inventory, and I suspect most of those purchases are cash. Long story short, if you're not in a rush, I'd just sit back and wait.

update: car was just inspected and oil change from the dealer.

Jordan should buy this car as a spare. He'll be looking for another one in 6 months...
|
He doesn't even have one now. Poser.
|
This makes absolutely zero sense. For someone who comes on here to waives about his imaginary wallet by bragging about his $50k annual insurance premiums, why doesn't he have his next 507 to crash?
JordanAF - BUY this 507 sedan before someone else buys it! We don't need anymore threads on you looking for a 507 sedan... |

I can't believe you didn't see that thread. I think he was haggling over a few bucks, or it fell through, or it wasn't the right shade of white, or some other schit. I can't find it right now, but he ain't ever coming back. He got destroyed in that thread.

The color matters to some, but just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable. All you have to do is look at book value, they never place any additional value on any color. Technically with so few cars made and so many mix of options possible, each car could be rare, but again, it doesn't make it more valuable.

I've got a Designo graphite color, didn't pay any more for it than a regular car even though it's considered a custom color. With all the possible permutations with options and color, it's possible for every car to be unique with a low volume car. Hence just because it's rare doesn't make it more valuable. The market decides.

Oh yes, I remember your thread. Book on your car is about 14k, the insurance company was trying to lowball you. You also had 10k worth of mods done to your car which you said was done in the last year. Your appraiser came to 22.75k. The insurance appraiser gave you a 15.6k number and then averaged the two to come to 19.2k number. Book doesn't list any add for color, just navigation, sport package and the stereo. When I bought my car used, book didn't add for the options that it had and I ended paying under book anyway.
