Supercharged SLK55 for sale
This is a unique and very quick car. The custom fenders are from a group-buy (ended up with less than 10 sold) from a European company. This may be the only supercharged SLK55 with sport fenders in the U.S.
aftermarket add-ons:
2005 Mercedes SLK55 with 76k miles - nice mileage of about 6k per year, so no issues like rotting hoses from not being driven & not high miles where you need to worry about everything. I just had the plates renewed and emissions testing passed. The convertible top works perfectly.
The car has nearly new (less than 1k miles) Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires. It has airscarf, lighting package (bi-xenon headlights), entertainment package (navigation, Harman Kardon sound system, 6-cd changer), working heated seats, and the OEM wind deflector. Maintenance is up to date - I had an oil change & replaced spark plugs less than 500 miles ago. I had all weather stripping replaced less than 2 years ago. It's been garaged overnight since I have had it.
I haven't really had any problems from the car - in the 4 years I've owned it (1.5 years with supercharger), aside from normal maintenance, I had the seat heaters and MAF replaced (both fairly common problems) and the front struts replaced/upgraded.
The car has 2 months remaining on a Platinum (exclusionary) Fidelity warranty. I had the seat heaters replaced under warranty without any problems.
Asking $27,500 obo
I have the (replaced) OEM parts from the supercharger install, the spare OEM fenders, and the pipes / front cats which were taken off when the headers were added.

I have had no issues with Fidelity - they replaced my seat heaters (~ $4k I think) with no problems at all. I bought mine through a MB dealer if that somehow affects how they treat claims.
Like many reviews on the internet, people don't generally post positive accounts ... I bought a washing machine recently and from reviews you'd think every washing machine made leaks water and breaks down within a couple months.

bump, warranty nearing expiration
next step if I keep it is to get ported heads & cams, so save me that expense

willing to consider trades + cash (either from my end or yours) ... I'd probably be selling whatever I'd get in a trade, but maybe not

I just looked at the warranty, and it expires 5/31/2017 ... I was thinking it was 5/21/2017, so there's 10 days left of the warranty
