2006 E55 AMG
Purchased this E55 on 2/18/2017 from AutoNation Chrysler Savannah.
Found out earlier this week daughter was accepted to Mississippi State University, her 1st choice! This will leave us with 2 daughters in college next fall, and I will turn 55 years old next month. That said, I've got to unload The Beast.
Today, I went to sell it to CarMax and received their offer of $9,000 which is good for 7 days, until 4/13/2017. Before accepting their low offer, I want to first offer it to those who know what it is. I am asking $12K or best offer.
2006 E55 AMG
VIN: WDBUF76J46A855925
Mileage: 121,718
Price: $12K obo
Thank you.

BAD NEWS...
Was driving late last night and received the following message: "ESP MALFUNCTION - VISIT WORKSHOP"
Car went to limp mode. I pulled over, turned it off and restarted it. Did not reoccur, but drove 5 miles, straight home. Research shows possible faults are speed sensor, steering sensor, crank pulley, supercharger belt and who knows. I'm sure my indy Mercedes expert will know the issue and resolution. So for now, I have taken the car off the market until this is addressed and resolved.
I'm disappointed, but so glad this happened before selling the car.
Thanks,
Carl

What a clean E55!!! Agreed that i love that redish tint to the seats\doors to break up the black.
I really wish I was in the market for an E55! Good luck with the sale.
