FS: 2006 C55 AMG Kleeman, 30 K original Miles
Gentlemen:

Up for sale is my Mars Red 2006 C55 AMG Kleeman Supercharged. I am asking $21,500. 1 of 451. Less than 5 were Mars Red and ONLY 1 is a Mars Red Kleeman SC. Yes, this one for sale. The car is located in N.W. Chicagoland area , IL. I purchased the car in Sept 2009 on this very forum with approximately 17K miles, and am the second owner. (First owner is also on these forums and is also from Chicagoland area. ) All maintenance and service were performed at Mercedes Benz of Hoffman Estates or Speedriven (Marcin) in Palatine IL. My prior was a modded C32. That car was quick, this one much quicker. The C32 was a scalpel, this one is a hammer. Lots of torque with the SC. I have the original Kleeman dyno sheets as well. First owner also had a modded RS4 and this one was quicker/faster than that car.

A quick show of hands on EBay, Autotrader, AutoTempest shows me this is the lowest mileage 06 C55 available and the ONLY with a Kleeman SuperCharger as well. Note too that this was a "factory" install of the Kleeman Supercharger by Corey and crew at Kleeman in Colorado.Of important note, most of the current C55s available have 4-6 times as many miles as this vehicle. Its a rare bird indeed.

I am 2nd Owner. 1st owner bought car new in IL and had it shipped to Kleeman in Colorado Springs, CO for installation of the Kleeman Autorotor S/C and headers & tune (I have the paperwork for that). I do NOT have window sticker as he could not locate it. Note they (Kleeman) NO longer make/manufacture this particular supercharger and it is very rare and considered one of the best SCs ever made for this car.

30,000 Miles original miles as of today and NO (0) accidents
Light grey AMG interior
(9/10 drivers seat has slight wear on left bolster from getting in or out )

The car is mechanically solid and pulls like a monster/beast yet has had zero issues.

Full Disclosure:

1- Original clean title . This C55 was originally titled in IL, I retitled it in FL. This is NOT a rebuilt or Lemon title, its a clean all original title with me as second owner. Car is in IL.

2. No accidents on CarFax or Auto Chek .


3. Oil Changes/Maintenance done at MB Hoffman Estates or Speedriven Palatine IL.

4. Headlight Lens have NO yellowing at all as car sat in garage all of its life. They are the Xenons.

5. New tires were installed at 17,000 miles, so the current ones have about 13 K miles on them @ 30 K miles on vehicle.

A 2005 CLK55 with less options, higher miles and not in as good of shape and WITH NO Kleeman SC sold here within last 6 months for the same money.

515 on Kleeman's dyno and that was at altitude. Horsepower is NOT the issue. Getting it to hook is!! I drove the original owners RS4 which was modded and the C55 was faster and definitely felt stronger.

No Comand. Antenna is NOT on trunk and I have not connected satellite

Are you saying 515whp with s/c, headers, & tune? Or 515bhp? The latter seems reasonable.

Out of morbid curiosity - why? Who cares about an 11 year old Nav system? Any off the shelf double din screen from Alpine/Pioneer/etc will do so much more and look factory - it may even be possible to retain the factory wheel controls. Unless I'm missing something?

Dumb question (if you don't mind me asking): Any particular reason as to why the car is titled in FL even though it has spent all its life in IL with both owners?

Kleemann ran it on their dyno and I wasn't there and dyno is not clear. It indicates 515. Regardless, its a very quick car.

Historically speaking, unmodified, one owner Mercedes-Benz vehicles have commanded a premium over modified cars. Your car has significantly less mileage, as you pointed it out, which would offset the initial "gap" making yours a fair comparison indeed (in my opinion).


With that in mind, I have been drooling over the thought of owning this beautiful girl since the moment you posted her. She's HOTTTT.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to apply to the C55. Equivalent BMW M3 same year command double the price. Can't figure it out, just hoping these take a little more time to be appreciated. I only have ~19k miles, 1 owner. Mine is modded, but 0% aftermarket. All mods are OEM options either on a NA or EU car, correctly done even down to the wiring color.

Doesn't seem to matter a bit in terms of value.

Kleemann is also aftermarket BTW. Anything non-Mercedes-Benz is.


And yes, usually M3's do better than C-AMG's for some reason. Which is weird, when you think that AMG's outperform them most of the times.

I go to Hemmings, AutoTempest etc daily and 1. There's NOT a whole lot of C55s out there as production was limited 2. Those that ARE out there often have OVER 100K miles. Its rare to find one with less than 50K miles (I know of three and one just sold for approx. $17 K w/o the Kleeman SC. 3. You can't even get this particular SuperCharger (AutoRotor) anymore and that's the beauty of this install. Cory at Kleemann in CO built the car and did the install. The beauty of the install is that it looks factory, runs better than factory and there's NO drone at highway cruise, BUT sounds great on acceleration with the headers.

I'm with you. C55s tromp equivalent model and year M3s all day long. All the pluses I have still don't equate to the BMW money. My mods (better described as factory options installed after the fact) are all 100% MB OEM sourced. Including wiring and connectors. Heck ... the AMG crest gear selector and door lock pins were sourced direct from the Affalterbach client shop.

A kleeman blower and headers are not OEM options. Anything kleeman is not OEM.
