E63S Wagon
FS: 2014 C63 Edition 507 Sedan

Hello All, the time has come for me to part ways with my vehicle. It's been a helluva ride but as many things go, it's time to move on. It runs strong with zero issues and it will make a fun car for the next owner (hopefully a responsible one). I will attempt to sell it for a while as it is as I am not in a rush to sell. If it doesn't work out, I will convert it back to original form then do a part out sale.

The basics of the vehicle:

2014 C63 Edition 507 Sedan
Designo Magno Platinum
Black Interior with piano black
32, 600 miles but will creep up slowly as I will drive it one day on weekends to keep it running
ROW Boxes
Benzworks longtube headers
Eurocharged V5 tune
Handheld flash device with original map, V5 map, and V5 with headers map
KW V3 Coilovers
Climate control swapped from W212 (thanks to the guidance of member Anatoli and his legendary C63 estate he once owned)
Expel stealth fully wrapped hood
F1 Ceramic tint with lifetime warranty
All stock parts will be included
Will include an extra set of "like new" Conti Sport Contact 5 MO tires with plenty of tread life
Carfax report available
Original warranty until Oct 12, 2017
CPO warranty until Oct 12, 2018

Asking price: $55,000 firm
Vehicle location is Los Angeles.

Thanks for your time.

14 C63 Sedan 507
Rare color, rare sedan. Looks fully loaded maybe minus the illuminated door sills and star?

Have you done any dyno work?

I am only interested in all the parts. Already have a 507 sedan

Thanks zhangzheng. I am not sure if the W204s offered the illuminated star but you are correct that mine does not have this feature. However, I do have the illuminated sills.

If I end up parting out I will keep you in mind. I had one guy approach me locally but everything is available until I have cash in hand. Where are you located?

Thanks PurpleHeart. Yeah, the swap is plug and play as far as the unit goes. Just takes little effort for a custom bezel. When I went from a W212 to a W204, I couldn't stand to see the analog dials. I think this is how the vehicle should have been assembled.

I see you have a vehicle for sale also. It is stellar and I'm sure it will get snatched up quickly. Good luck.

I guess it would have been a good idea for me to mention that the car is in Los Angeles. Sorry about that.

Beautiful and rare car!
I am also in LA and maybe came across 3 C63s in the past 24 months.

Thanks fallen. I've had a few people check it out and as we are both looking at and discussing the vehicle I can't help but to have second thoughts. I see you've owned a W204 C63 and now drive a W212 E63s. I am looking into an S212 E63s myself and wondering your thoughts on the switch. I actually drove a 2010 E63 before the C63 and prefer the bigger E segment vehicle and the interior appointments. However, both my experiences have been with the M156 engine. Wondering about your opinions on the different engines. I'd appreciate your feedback.

I've had 2 c63's and now my e63. The c63's are a bit more raw but the E is way quicker. The cockpits are quite similar minus the seats and while I do miss the c63 seats from time to time I enjoy the E's. Particularly the heated/cooled/massaging part as well as my dynamic seats that will hug you in the twisties when you want that. There are some other great touches like door stitching, interior lighting, and felt additions which make it clear you've moved up a class.

The c63 was more of a toy where the E is more of a statement / presence type of vehicle. You won't really break loose off the line in the facelift awd models.

Lastly -- I see you modded the 507. The E takes to mods much better with larger gains all around. I remember tuning my base c63 and loved it. Then I tuned the E and I thought the c63 was weak sauce. I literally went from 505awtq on a mustang to 763awtq on a dynojet. So 260awtq on just a tune and downpipes which cost 1/4th what c63 headers do.

Overall, I was very happy with the move up in class. Do I miss my c's? Eh, sometimes, mostly my facelift. But they really don't compare. I don't particularly see myself wanting to move into the S models any time soon, I'm not a huge fan of the screens in those as I like my analog clusters. And if I was going to go more sporty I'd go into the GT. But I raced a GT on the highway and smashed it, granted I was modded and it was stock, but I smashed it.

If you're looking for any other particulars let me know. Cost to maintain is basically the same, motors are equally stout and reliable... No real issues that I'm aware of or at least nothing like the PFL headbolts on the m156.

If I were you, I'd at the very least bump up to the M157 e's if you're going to move at all. Honestly, I don't see much of a point going from a 156 c63 to a 156 e63.

**This coming from experience in my 14. So the PFL's I'm not entirely sure about but haven't seen anything crazy going on there**

Thanks again Purple. Always great explanations as I've read your farewell to the W204 group when you made the switch. Regarding the PFL W212s with the M156, what I meant was that I owned one prior to my current W204. When I made the switch I recall myself thinking, "Geez this is small!" in regards to the interior. I felt and still feel cramped inside it. I also felt the interior was a step down as you would expect comparing a C class to an E class. I agree with you 100% on the seats. I love the W204 sedan seats but I do miss the level of adjustments, massage and the dynamic bolsters in the E. Although the 2010 E63 was my segue (and trap) into the AMG world, I would not go back to it at this point. I now know the M156 was meant for the C63 chassis.

Regarding the 2 engines, I recall in one of your write ups you mentioned that if anyone test drives the E63S, you have to really get into the gas pedal to get the real feel of the power delivery (i think that was you). As I was just driving home from showing my car to a potential buyer, I was getting seller's remorse and for what ever reason I remembered that point and wondered how "different" it is. That's why when I saw fallen had also made the switch, I was wondering if he would say the same. Anyway, I plan to go test drive one this weekend so I guess I will know soon, just gotta put my foot into it a bit.

I totally agree with you on the toy vs statement comment. I felt the same when I moved from an E to the C. And I look forward to gaining so much more from a simple tune with the turbo engine. I look forward to reviewing your build thread.

PurpleHeartAMG covered all the points perfectly as always - thank you, Kiva!
One thing...I kept my C63 coupe and drive/enjoy it as much as I can.
