What do you think about this 2004 SL55
Hi fellas,
I was looking for E55 on CL and noticed this 2004 SL55, because seller simply put E55 to the listing title:

I like it's color and OK with miles.
There are 3 issues:
1) Driver's seat has tears (not shown in pics, but seller texted me more pics).
2) Registration expired (learned today from seller).
3) Seller claims he doesn't have time to do PPI.
First issue may be fixed though I don't see any SL read seats on eBay. I guess they may cost a fortune if purchased from MB dealer. There are some seat components here as a reference though they don't sell red. If red is discontinued it's even worse. So the total for lower cover and back cover is about $1700. Again no red color available:

Next issue is expired registration. It seems strange unless seller has strong plans to get rid of it and don't plan even to pay $50 to register it for a another year. Idk how much registration costs there.
Finally seller refuses to do PPI. This is huge red flag to me since I guess anything can be negotiated even badly leaking ABC etc. And it's hard for me to take MB mechanic to see that car in person since all decent mechanics whom I know have their full time jobs.
So on one hand I like this car in this color, but seller seems don't want to make it quick, smooth and nice, thus I'm still thinking about it, but half of me tells me to skip it.
What do you think?
P.S.: I'm not related to seller/owner and I don't even know him.
