Thumping noise on bumps ML63

Does anyone have a " light thumping noise" towards the rear of their ML63. It almost sounds like the spare tire is jumping around or a rear seat is bumping. It is neither of these things and I have looked under the vehicle for other clues. Before i go to my dealer i wondered if anyone else has this issue. It occours when hitting small pot holes or road irregularities.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think it is a broken shock.

Has anyone else had a broken shock on their 63? I will be calling the dealer Monday.

Both rear shocks were leaking

MB replaced both rear shocks under warranty. Has anyone else had this problem. Is anyone out there?

the same problem had my friend... but not only with rear shocks.

+ now i have some other problem... my v belt tore. + posting is also tore by v belt... so it is in service already for 3 weeks... i am not happy with such Reliability
