what was the end result?

Well following a fire that started in my rear door the vehicle spent 2 months at mercedes and insurance agreed to pay 10k for repairs. Upon getting it back after only few days I found water in the back again...Mercedes said it was residual. I said bs my tailgate motor is wet again they said too bad.
I went back to the dealer where I got it and handed in the keys.

NEVER AGAIN WOULD I BUY ONE OF THESE PIECES OF ****. Also the Porsche is LIGHTYEARS ahead on quality. MB isnt even in the ballpark. You cant deny that.

lol....omg, your whining ***** voice, can I get that with all this? Dude, you sound like a Porsche salesman who couldn't sell that last Cayenne left over from 2010, lol and trying to make amends. I've got 116k on my ML and other than an airmatic compressor, everything has been standard maintenance. And I drive it like I raped it, tune and all. BTW, I owned a 911 TT so I've owned both brands, the Porsche was far from flawless from a mechanical $$$$$ standpoint. The key to any of these high end cars is an aftermarket warranty, so you don't eat anything unexpectedly.
Buy yourself a little 235M under maintenance plan and call it a day for a few years.

new M2 is looking like a fun little car... especially with xDrive as an option. looks like a little S3/RS3 killer.

2013 ml 350 bluetec. I pull a boat so decided to go with a diesel. I really do miss the power though

funny, i ordered a new X5D. fully loaded. thing tops out pretty high, i know i am going to miss the power compared to what i am used to but fuel prices aren't going to stay down forever so i am striking while the discounts are a plenty.

Nice choice! Exactly...I'm not missing filling up every 3 days either. So far I'm enjoying the ride

hahaha, that is certainly something i do not miss... having owned an RRS-SC, RR-SC, X5M among other gas guzzling vehicles i wound up seeing the gas station attendant more often than my own wife... this may be a refreshing change.

Mercedes Evo II
Now more than 60'000 miles in my modified w166 ml63 and everything is still Perfect !!

The only issue I had was the battery and a broken suspension ... Some dude cut me off and in order to avoid an accident I had to go over a pavement above 30mph :-(

The AMG runs extremely strong and Its truely an amazing car everyday!

Just my 2c

Hi,
do you have more info on that resonator delete? pictures and what did you use? Thanks
