2009 ML63 Brakeline BROKE and RUSTED

Hi I had purchased a brand new 2009 ML63 back in 2009. A couple of years ago I had noticed there was some rust spots in sections of the car. A few weeks ago I was driving on the highway and when I went to brake the brake pedal went all the way down and the brake fluid light had lit up. I went and purchased brake fluid and filled up the brake fluid compartment, in a matter of minutes all the fluid dripped out, after I had taken it to the mechanic and the truck was lifted and covers were removed on the bottom of vehicle and we saw that the brake line was broken due to rust and everything underneath the car was rusted. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do. That is not normal for a $100,000 car.
