Question regarding ML55 exhaust options
Hey guys, im new to the site and have been looking over some amg options as a new to me car. An ml55 has come up and I like the practicality of a utility vehicle with some power. However, I feel the car is lacking one aspect of the v8 amg I usually see. Quad tip exhaust! Yeah I'm lame...
Keep in mind, I'm a fairly young guy (20 years) and I've been using a slug volvo for 2 years now and if i want quad tips leave me be. I was wondering if the quad tips from an e55 or c55 would fit on an ml55? I've googled this question and have yet to come across an answer. I'm not looking for kleemann or renntech packages because theyre expensive. I really appreciate any comments that might be helpful.

If you are looking at having your ML55 louder, I would suggest to replace the center resonator with a Y pipe (approx $150) and then replace your rear muffler with a Flowmaster Camaro muffler (1 IN and 2 OUT). You could then use what ever Tips please you.
I have tried many exhaust setup on mine and I believe this is the best and cheapest way to go. It is sad that earlier stock AMG model like ours are extremely quiet and does not sound like a true AMG V8 should sound at all.

Sorry to reply so late...i mean super late but i never ended up buying the ml55 until 2 years later (now). If youre still on the site or even own the ml55 still, could you give me more insight on the setup? is this diy friendly? If anyone can spare some info on a louder exhaust setup for the 55.
