FS: Bluetooth Puck / Adapter for MY 2005+
You need to have MHI installed in your car already... if you have a phone cradle or a male connector in your center console, it's likely you could use this puck / adapter. Just check whether you have the same connector (see 3rd pic - you need to take out your phone cradle first - press small button on your cradle).
See pics below for condition. The item has been tested and it works perfectly.
Checking previous classifieds, people asked $250 + shipping.
So I think $225 shipped & insured is reasonable.
Non-local buyer:
PayPal is preferred (instant transfer / PayPal balance only). I, however, will only mail to PayPal's verified address. If you don't have one, I accept money order / cashier's check.
Local buyer (SF Bay Area):
If you want me to ship, you'd be considered Non-local buyer so the above applies. If you want to do local pick-up (I'll drive up to 10 miles from Fremont area), cash only.

AFAIK, if the car has a cradle's connector that is usually in the center console, or if you go to telephone menu in COMAND or MFD, and it says "Insert Phone" or "Phone Off", chances are your car has MHI and you need nothing but this puck to enable bluetooth.
If you don't have a connector or if your MFD says "No Phone" or something like that, chances are your car needs more work to get bluetooth - wiring + dealer programming to make the car recognize the system.
I could double confirm when my GL comes (and I may take this ad off since I will need it
). The dealer said "phone pre-wired"... I asked the salesman and he said the car has a phone connector but no cradle/puck. So we'll see whether I could just plug this in like my E55 (assuming there is indeed a connector
).
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Not sure whether it wouldn't work at all or just some of the features wouldn't work (e.g. phone book or texting?
). I haven't tried (don't have blackberry) so I can't say for sure.

No takers?
