2013 ML350 BT - DIY maintenance tips?

Hey guys, the CPO warranty on my 2013 ML350 Bt just expired and I plan to start doing the maintenance myself since the warranty is gone. My next service will be a ''Service B'' (125 000 km or about 80k miles). This includes an oil/oil filter change, fuel filter change, top the Adblue fluid, change the cabin/air filter, etc.

My question to the DIYer's is this : Where do you guys buy your parts?

I plan to order my parts from Rockauto.com since they seem to have the best prices (for example, the fuel filter is quoted 150$ CAD from my MB dealership in Ottawa). However, there are multiple fuel filters to choose from on the Rockauto website. Which filter to choose?

http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/m...el+filter,6200

As you can see, the cheapest fuel filter is like 35$ CAD and the most expensive is 80$ CAD. Which filter do you guys get for your maintenance?

Which website do yo guys use to get your parts? If from Rockauto, which version of the fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, etc. do you get?

Thanks for the help guys.

I used
https://www.mbdirectparts.com/
For oil, oil filter, air filters, cabin filters, dust filter.
Fuel filter should cost around 100$ it its original.
I wouldn't even try to go with 3rd party.

Everything was delivered very fast.

I too just bought an ML350BT w/38K miles. I decided to do all of the maint items. The engine air filters were really bad, obviously never changed. I too use Rock Auto or Amazon. Mann supplies the OE filters anyway. I didn't have time to wait for a fuel filter so I got one from my dealer; ouch! it was $199. Same Mann filter from RockAuto is $64. The MB filter even had the Mann part number stamped on the body.

After reading this guys blog, I decided to use this oil: Motul 7100 4T Synthetic Ester Motor Oil - 20W50. I also removed the belly pan.

By the book MB wants to change air filter every 40K. Which is absolutely nonsense. I do it every 20K and they already dirty.

Interesting oil selection, Im afraid to use something different than approved. Just me. Probably making mistake.

I buy my parts from www.ecstuning.com and www.idparts.com.

As mentioned, MANN is the the OE supplier, so no need to spend 3x as much for the same part.

For the fuel filter, there are 4-5 different variants, so double check which one your car uses. It should be the 5-pin (i.e., MANN WK820/14). You also need a CLIC pliers to remove and reinstall the fuel line clamps.
