OK. I have purchased my last 2 batteries at Batteries + and they are only lasting 2 months! That is unacceptable . I think it is CR 2025. Where are you all getting your batteries. [my first battery lasted YEARS]

Not sure if it helps...but leaving FOB in the car drains them appearantly..

Its funny, just replaced mine yesterday:
Used Panasonic Cr2025 battery bought at Amazon.
Panasonic CR2025-4 CR2025 3V Lithium Coin Battery (Pack of 4)
Lasted from Feb 10 2016 till yesterday when message pop-up.

Also, i did see another discussion on this forum of using cr2032 instead. There are enough room to fit.
Im planning to use cr2032 next time.

I also replaced mine 2-3 days ago, and lasted about 1yr and 2 months. I believe I pick it up from local walmart (Energizer CR2025).

I did that and it fits. Barely, but it fits...

I visited the dealer yesterday and was told to stop buying Chinese batteries. They installed a Japanese battery [Panasonic] for $3.95.

Great point! I've bought generic AND brand-name batteries from discount electronic shops and have been disappointed every time. But the oversized (and brand-name) battery mentioned before definitely fits and should last quite a bit longer.

Battery I bought form Amazon also Panasonic, but maid in Indonesia. Are you sure yours made in Japan?
