Ideal tire pressure (cold) for 19 inch tires?

It depends on the load and what tires you are running. I am using XL (extra load) tires and they are designed to run a bit higher pressure, and do not reach designed load capacity until 41 psi cold. I tow a lot and carry a fair amount of weight so I run 41 front and up to 45 rear. My gas flap lists that for heavy load, and 35 all around for a light load. If I ran lower pressures the tires would not wear well.

These tires are rated at 50 psi max and I run them at that for better feel economy, max load capacity and optimal handling. I find the ride to be excellent at higher psi, but I like a firm ride. I drive on gravel roads regularly and have never had problems with these Pirellis. They are excellent tires.
It is not optimal to follow the recommended psi on the gas tank unless you still are rolling on the factory tires, as different tires have different ratings. Just my two cents.
