Hi all,
I have owned my Car for a week now.
Is a 2004 E500 (W211), it is a Japanese import to our country. Has travelled 152,000 kilometres, and has the 7 speed auto. Colour is Alabaster with the black leather trim.
I must say that I am extremely impressed with the ride and quietness of this car. Plus the power and acceleration is something I have not experienced before!
I am the 3rd NZ owner, the first only owning the car for a few weeks, he sold it because he received a large speeding fine. Apparently he said there was no point owning a vehicle like that in NZ if it could not be driven in the way it was designed for! Seems he was from the UK, and was used to the higher open road limits there, and also in Europe and the autobahn.
I have also joined the local Midlands branch of the Mercedes Club, and hope to meet some of the members soon.
