2015 s550 4matic sedan
Smile New member Jackson Michigan

Hello. I am now the proud owner of a 2015 s550 4matic sedan.Saying it is a wonderful car doesn't do it justice. I have a question. Today it was driven for 4 hours on the turnpike. At the destination there was a coolant smell but no obvious leaks. The temp was 200F. Is this normal?

Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, MINI and more!
Welcome to MBWorld! Congratulations on the purchase. Make sure there isn't coolant being burned off anywhere under the hood. This will only show signs of coolant stains on components, but no drips/seeps onto the ground or other components. Could be very slight. Could also be nothing, but keep an eye on your coolant level and temps. Enjoy!

Welcome please post picture of your ride If it goes higher than 210 I would get it checked out but first make sure the reserve tank is full of antifreeze
