Hi from the UK

Hi all, haven't been on here for years and forgot my login details so started again.
Just switched from an ML320 (98) to the ML430 (01) because the ML320 failed MOT for third year in a row at a grand a time so I gave up on it.

I have owned ML's for the last decade, previously two ML320's (01 & 98), one I lost to the Ex and the latest for 5 years with all the usual bugs batted around on here, plus a few extra unusual gremlins which if anyone wants to know just ask, I took ages to find the cures and most were simple but not easily available in one place and most often the most uncommon (not heard of) simple solution which I randomly found.

I have to say thanks to your forum for the last 10 years as you have been my saviour on many occasions.

With the switch to a ML430 I am now in unknown territory so need to ask at least two questions of which I shall post up, although I know most are common across the ML series there may be some differences of which I am yet to learn.

So I will say a big THANKS in advance and will try to lend my hand to anyone else on here with ML320 woes as you can imagine owning ML's for 10 years I have seen and fixed quite a lot (with all your help).

(inserts huge smiley face here)

Thanks peeps, I took a quick shot tonight but am getting the wheels reconditioned so shall post up a new pic in daylight when done.

There are also slightly larger wheel arch gaps as I had just fitted the rear anti roll bar trailing link (drivers side) and hadn't settled the suspension yet.
Reason being is because when I took the wheel off I saw it was missing completely lol.
Previous owner obviously had a great mechanic. No probs though as I just stole it from my now retired ML320.
