Door Lock Won't Respond to Remote. Already Installed New Batteries.
Hello,
I have a 1995 SL500. The driver's door will not respond to the remote in the key fob and the green/red lights in the door handle do not light up. The passenger door sensor and the trunk sensor respond just fine and will lock and unlock the driver's door. I replaced the batteries in the key fob but that didn't fix anything. Are there possibly separate fuses for the three different locks? Am I stuck having to remove the interior door panel and replacing the entire locking unit? Thanks for your help and interest!
