Hi guys, I'm Standingwave, or Stav... I have a 1998 C200 W202, beautiful little car I've had for 4-1/2 years now with no issues bar a few minor fix-ups.

Issue with my chariot

Thanks guys, great little car but I do have an issue at the moment, about March she started to have problems starting after driving her for about 20 minutes, she turned over but no start... I left it for 30 to 45 minutes and she started ok... now she will drive for around 20 minutes then just stop dead and not restart for about 30 to 45 minutes... she's in with the mechanic at the moment but looking on various forums there does seem to be a history of this occurring... I've changed the fuel filter and fuel pump, new battery, checked the fuses and relays, checked the ECU, and no codes are thrown up... nothing untoward or out of place. Hoping the mechanic can find and fix the problem... any ideas?

I had similar issue with an American made car and it was a bad ground. from the battery to the frame, Cleaned it up and problem went away.
