ML270 cdi W163
central locking problem
I have W163 '01 ML270cdi. remote key is not working, I have replaced the batteries and tried the 're-sync' routine as specified, still not working.
The key starts the engine and everything else seems OK. The one recent problem was the alarm siren would not stop and is disconnected.
I can lock the doors via the centre console button and unlock with the key in the door.
I can find NO other faults and am suspicious of the relays.

Out Of Control!!
You have done all the weekend rodney stuff. Now its time to really find the non obd faults. That requires someone with DAS it interrogate the CL system to determine the problem
