The interior so far looks atrocious IMO, the lines on the doors are all over the place, the whole thing looks like a queasy mating between "futuristic" in that artificial way a'la 80's "Knight Rider" and very old-world in an almost British sense.... and that old-Lincoln-esque 2-spoke steering wheel is the worst thing Mercedes, in their self-professed seeming everlasting quest to gain recognition from the "youth", can do.

I fell in love with w221 since they first came out in 2006. I didn't even have a licence then. And now 7 years later i'm still saving money on one of the early second hand models. Guys you are really lucky you can afford this car and i'm very pleased for you because you chose the best car ever. I know that one day i will be driving it too even if i have to wait another 5 or more years.

I agree. It doesn't look elegant enough. To me it the whole multiple layering reminds me of a Lexus trying to do a BMW attempt at interior material layering thing-y.

I'm debating the 2014 S Class as well but I would want the S65. That will be a while till that is available in the States. Not sure if I'm willing to sell my current S65. Which model do you have?
