Recall 2013110008 NOV13 – MY14 222 vehicles produced between 4/11/13 – 10/14/13 front seat belt anchor might not be mounted correctly and could release under heavy load, dealer will check front passenger seat belts. Approximately 290 vehicles affected.

Service Campaign 2013110007 NOV13 – MY14 222 rear SAM software does not correspond to current production configuration, dealer will update software. Approximately 775 vehicles affected.

LI54.15-P-057375 NOV13 – 222 up to production date 9/18/13 with at least one of the equipment codes: remote trunk closing (881), power closing (883), additional trunk lid lock (884) opening command (via handle flap, key, etc.) can cause software to enter an endless loop after which trunk lid can no longer be opened electrically. Trunk lid can be opened manually using mechanical key. Dealer will update software.

LI80.61-P-057752 NOV13 – 212 VIN A909083 – A920630 & 222 A020500 – A023037 Keyless Go (889) vehicle cannot be opened/closed or started via KG manufacturer fitted key with wrong processor. KG function worked in the past - yes, perform diagnostics; no, replace affected key.

LI27.19-P-057771 DEC13 - 212.098, 298 Bluehybrid, 095 Hybrid & 222.057, 157 Hybrid various transmission problems including intermittently cannot shift into reverse also CEL may light up. Oil pressure switch is faulty. If problem occurs in combination with fault code P087000, replace TCU.

Been to the dealership over the weekend and all S classes that were outside had condensation inside front headlight. Don't know if it's normal or an issue???

LI54.65-P-059114 MAY14 – 212 Surround View (code 501) produced up to 7/14; 222 code 501 up to 5/20/14; 166 code 501 up to 7/14 at night picture from camera in display on head unit can appear too dark, software update with optimized parameters is available.

I imagine this relates to the back-up camera at night. I know that mine is quite dark and difficult to see much on the screen. Is this what this bulletin pertains to?

Thanks! Do you know if there will be a fix for the rather dark looking back-up camera view at night? I suppose this has to do with the back up lights not being bright enough.

Finally! Great to hear that this update is out. So US dealers should be able to perform this fix now? I'd love to schedule a service visit this week.

Considering the fix in question is for the Surround View option and the backup camera is really a subset of that feature, I'd imagine there to be a fix for those with just the backup camera.

I also have the 360 Surround View option. I guess, I have not studied this feature well enough at night. In any case, it's nice to know that a software update is available.

Do you know which side ventilation this refers to? I have cracking noises from B pillar area. Thanks!

058924 addresses side vents in dash. I would suggest having shop foreman ride along to identify noise.

FYI - just got my car back from the shop. The image is INFINITELY better than before at night. It actually makes the feature usable. If you happen to be in darker areas a lot, I highly recommend bringing the car in for the software update. Overall, very pleased that this has been addressed.

Is yours a 14 or a 15 MY? I took my 15 and they said no update until August?

Thanks! I'm going to have to check this out with the dealer. So, it could be the surround view system that is causing the dark image at night instead of the lack of enough light from the tail lights?
