I think he should be banned from this forum, there is voicing your opinion without attacking every member who disagree with your views. Placing T-A in my ignore list, thanks MD.

Just did the same. Have never put anyone on an ignore list, but this was getting too annoying.
No need to describe everything in love/hate language and filling each thread with endless re-phrased repeats of the same opinion.
I for one happen to like the 5 series and we have a 7 series, but I ultimately prefer MB. But who cares, all this is a matter of taste and budget; there are plenty of pros/cons to every model/brand. Pick what you like and let others do the same.
That said, I hope that we can get finally back on topic: the W222
Btw. Dealer called again to check out the local demo and took it for a spin (I am sure like many of you). Will post some of my impressions later.
Meanwhile, the new S was standing in front of a C-Class and I was surprised of how small the C looked compared to the S (see my 2 poor cell-pics).

The C-Class has aged perfectly, still looks fresh in its last (7th) model year.

C Class is M-B's best looking and most true-to-form design and timeless model since 2008 (aside from the putrid pre-facelift interior which unfortunately required a "correction" but when done, totally completed the car), IMO. It's still one of the best choices in its segment.

99.999999999999% sure on trading the S in on a S-Coupe next fall. Absolutely love it.
MB's "Concept" cars have been extremely close on the final design (exterior) lately. I know the interior will be different and more in line with the S Sedan. However, I hope they go with more leather than wood as the test mules indicate.

I tried to buy a demo unit from the dealer but they wouldn't budge.
Than I offered to do a extended test drive or rental of some sort. $2000/week. Still nothing I buy many cars from this dealer also. ..
Walked out empty handed.

Don't see the big deal.....the guy has a 2014 early. It's a fresh car....but 75 other people on this forum are going to have it in 2 weeks, too. Definitely think it's shady to call MB and cry about someone having it already, though......

First complaint... The front ac has no off button. When you get in the car and the ac starts going full blast to get to a certain temp you have to touch menu and then click over to off. w220 had a off button. The rear ac has off also. Its minor but annoying. I wish also the car could be programmed to start in sport mode always. (huge driving style difference in comfort and eco kicking in)
More time in the rear seat, the rear seat package with remote for front command, lighting, foot rest. everything in the rear is amazing, knocked it out of the park.

A technicality (for the S-class, and perhaps other models): On the button to change the transmission-engine behavior, the "S" stands for Standard, not Sport. I read that on a MB web page.

OK, it's the 15th, give us the thick and juicy of it.
What I'm most curious of is how it compares to your Rolls Ghost in various breakdowns?

Been busy with work and kids, Ill try to get a good set of pics and review compared to the ghost.
The Drivers assist is very good option and the rear seat entertainment comes with 3 remotes. They all control all three screens with switch. It is very cool.
