How were you able to pick one up yesterday when the US release date is Oct 15. Was your S550 delivered to the dealer before the release date was changed from Sept 20?

This is the exact build of all the dealer demos that are out there to the dollar. Only difference between dealer demos is that some have sport & others sport +1. Did your dealer sell you the demo?

Congrats on your purchase! I'm a long way from being able to afford such a car but I can always admire. I see it has the sport package but does it have ABC/MBC? I'm quite curious to hear people's take on the new MBC system. I rode in an 06 W220 S500 with ABC and it's quite impressive how a 2 ton sedan can barely lean in the corners but I'm curious to hear about hear how both systems now operate.

Can't wait to see the pics! Although, I am waiting for an AMG S Coupe myself! You say you had a Bentley… Which model? I have a 2012 SuperSports myself… By the sounds of it, if the interior of the Coupe is nice as the Sedan, I may be trading that in on the S63/65 Coupe…

Also, they specifically stated that dealer demos are to be: "the dealership demonstration vehicles are to be returned to Mercedes-Benz USA. The product team have advised me that these vehicles are not available for sale to customers at this time."
It is rather fantastic that this is possible. Unless the owner of the vehicle is a MB rep.
