2014 S 63 pics...WOW
Well I got a surprise call from my dealer yesterday telling me to check out a customer's car that just arrived. 2014 S 63, Diamond White, Exclusive Porcelain interior, H10 interior CF, exterior CF, 654 Triple 5-spoke wheels.
Car is just amazing. The seats and interior are on another level, the CF is beautiful, the rims look way better than in pics, and the stance looks great. The contrasting CF, front flicks, and exterior black trim and pano look so good against the white paint.
This is the first S 63 I have seen anywhere in person with the Exclusive Porcelain and it really showcases the interior.
Lucky guy to have placed his order and beat the rush.

Ok, that is gorgeous! Hands down. I've always been a fan of all black interior car, but the two tone with the black carpet, etc, is the only other combo I've liked. Simply stunning.
Question. What is this little pillow link thing at the bottom of the seat?
And, are the amg logos on the seats, recessed in the leather, (like previous AMG model years), or are they protruding out? It looks like they are the latter, which I like the better.

Regarding the amg logos on the top of the seats, are they recessed in the leather, (like previous AMG model years), or are they protruding out?
Here is a S63 pic I found on google:
Recessed amg logo
and here is yours:
The reason I ask is because the recessed amg logo's ended up falling off and the whole seats had to come apart to replace it.

I saw that too in some pics. I hope this push for 2015 models includes some under the skin improvements (brakes, oil leaks, etc) and better fit in the interior. This is starting to sound like the W220 all over again, except this time it isn't the gee-whiz tech that is failing, it is the COMMON THINGS that Mercedes shouldn't be having problems with!

I had actually noticed that the trim wasn't aligned either, when I was sitting in the passenger seat a few days ago. But, although I might be the minority here, my thoughts are that it honestly doesn't bother me a bit and I wouldn't get worked up about it. Cars are just material things. And I would never consider having a dealership try to fix something like this, they would just make it exponentially worse. The W222 is leaps and bounds over the 221 (and anything else in that price range) and there are so many pluses about it that I would be happy to own one the way it is.
Now if it was a mechanical or safety issue of any kind, that's a different story.
Just my $0.02

Am I the only one who thinks the interior would look soo much better if the screens were rounded a bit. Those rectangles are a bit too severe given the curves throughout the interior.
