interesting to see the MB 0-100km/h times,
s550 4.8
s600 4.6
s63 4.0
s65 4.3
the last 2 confuse me, except the s63 is a 4 matic. So basically I guess traction is what limits the 0-100 results. And both are not that much faster than a s550.
can't figure why anyone would want a s65 over s63

Canada gets an S400 - the US needs that car, Audi and BMW have V6 options on their cars at a lower price point than the V8. Really, for most US buyers of this car, the S550 is overpowered.

2015 S550 4Matic
You mean the US won't have an S400?? I know that in Canada, the S550 comes in short or long wheelbase whereas in the US there is only long wheel base....

No V6 S class in the US. MBUSA used to bring the S350 to the US, but that V6 was underpowered so it didn't sell. Then they tried selling that S400 hybrid - very few sales. But with the current biturbo V6s making good power, an S400 makes sense. Not every S buyer needs a 4.8s 0-60 car.

S-Class will likely get a I6 entry level model come facelift time. The new I6 engines are due to be introduced on the 2017 E-Class. Up to 400hp so I've read (rumored) from the top version of the new I6. A new entry level S350 with an 365-375hp I6 would be nice.
