Yes. I'm going with a 21" wheel, my opinion is 22" wheels are just too big.... Esthetically and usability speaking.
Going to paint the trim on the car to match the wheel. Just the chrome parts of the front grill. Decided to go with gloss black trunk emblems. I know this part is not popular on this forum but, painting the calipers burnt copper (will NOT put the "ceramic brakes" which is on the MBZ cars equipped with ceramic brakes).

Any particular reason why you're going with TSW? Traditionally for the legendary S-Class customers go a little bit more upscale like HRE so that it matches the status of the car.

Never really been one for tradition. Your comment kinda typifies one of the reasons why. I'm not about spending $8-$10k for wheels and tires just so I can "fit in". Don't get me wrong, have in the past, in fact, I bought a 22" set of Techart wheels from you guys a bunch of years ago for a Cayenne GTS and have had several sets of HRE wheels for an Aston Martin. The new flow form forged technology has brought some reasonably priced wheel options to the market. Even HRE offers this type of wheel. It's a different day than it was....

I think the image part plays a role but the main point was quality. HRE is the best in the business when it comes to that (along with BBS). The S-Class has been the best in the luxury sedan market for decades so they go hand in hand. To your point - that's not to say the TSW's aren't a solid choice because they are. But being in the wheel industry it's my honest opinion that the TSW's aren't truly meant for big body Benz's.

You can buy black emblems in either a matte or gloss finish on eBay. I had all badges remove for the paint correction. The star I ordered didn't fit so I painted the original star with 040 black spray paint and then clear coat with a 2k high gloss clear (with hardener). Looks perfect.
