I am getting this deal from a local dealer.

2014 S550 - MSRP $117,910 - Sell Price: 110K

Exterioriamond White (Sport Pkg)
Interior: Silk Beige Nappa (Burl Walnut)


I wanted a 2015 but dealer won't budge more then 5-6%. I feel like the discount is enough to justify getting the 2014.

Any Suggestions...


Random Questions:

1.) They have had the car for 8-9 months, Is this combo really that unpopular?

2.) I am a relatively young guy (early 30's). Am I going to feel like a grandpa driving this color combo?

$7K off $117K is 6.7% - not 15. You could get the same discount on 2015.

The white with the Sport package will look good but am not sure about the the ext/int. color combo. I would prefer a dark interior color with a white car.

If this is in MN, the discount should be much better. I had been offered a much greater discount even before the 15 models were available.

IMO this is a great combo...but I am a little biased with that same color combo sitting in the garage.






Shop around to be sure you are getting the best price.

I have the same set-up, except I have the Myrtle trim and 19's, and yes it will make you feel old

In your 30's go for sportier versions/cars/.My offspring from east coast were not turned on by my 2015 S 550 4 MATIC as they were by a AUDI R8 when we passed a AUDI dealership.

I think the interior of the car with burl walnut makes it more for an older person. Color is a personal choice. To me a black or porcelain interior makes it looks sportier. I had a 2014 S550 and I thought the car was more for an older person. I got a S63 sedan - black with porcelain now and it's a lot different than my S550 sedan. I don't know if it's more psychological but I feel this car fits me better than my old S550.

That color combination is an abomination, suitable to 50s-60s

Also, not a good price, should be able to get it down to $100K-105K.

I guess we all have our views. I'm in my 30's and I can't stand black/grey interiors. They are so drab and lifeless. I like the rich feel of a lighter colored interior like the silk/espresso.

Oh and for the record, the 15% off doesn't make sense unless that number quoted is after tax/fees or something. You should see $12-14k off of a left over S.

Nah that interior is way too bland, I think darker interiors on white cars are best or atleast go two tone if you're gonna do a lighter interior color.
