Zoned Heated Front Seats

Hello fellow Merc lovers,

I was wondering if anyone on here can tell me if the S-Class with heated front seats is zoned, i.e can you heat the cushion or the back separately? I know that the front climate seats that are heated and cooled have this option, but I'm currently having a dispute with my mate on this issue and neither of us can find the answer

Appreciate any help on this guys,

Cheers

In the car settings, you have the option to include the side door handle and center arm rest being heated WITH the seat warmer being turned on at the same time. The car has 1 control for each seats to select the on/off level of the seat warmer. There are no separate on/off controls for side door handle or center arm rest warmers.

Hi darwinl, thanks for the info but not quite what I was getting at. I not talking about the armrests here, im talking about just the seat and whether you can have just the back heating on without the cushion heating or whether you can have the cushion heating on and not on the back?

I know that with the climate seats with heating and cooling you can go into the infotainment and alter the heating balance between the back and the cushion, but my question is whether you can change the heating balance when you choose just the heated front seat package rather than the climate seat package?

I do not have the rear seat heating package...

I am able to control the balance of how much the front seat cushion heats vs the front seat back. This is done through the command system under "vehicle" IIRC.

^^^ these cars are amazing and I keep finding new items buried in the command system that I didn't know where there (or that I forgot were there!)

IIRC, even the W221 supported heat balance through COMAND.
