Thanks to everyone for their thoughts on S550 options when I ordered my car back in July. Based on that I deleted rear seat heater and opted for the comfort and warmth package. I changed from the 18" wheels to 19" twin five spoke ones and went from the standard leather to nappa.


I ordered from Herbert Haemmer like others on this forum and was delighted with his approach, advice and travel hints. It was like ordering from a friend rather that a salesman.

Very, very, very nice build. I still can't get over how great the new S interior looks in the lighter colors. Truly Rolls/Bentley class.

Great! Have fun and come back safely. Post here about your experience. Along with lots pictures of course. Make sure you have winter tires though. I'm certain that Herbert would have addressed that already.
I highly recommend you to visit Neuschwanstein castle. It's very pretty in winter.
