2014 S400
Hi from Tokyo
Hi from Tokyo
I just bought an S400 (traded in my XJ) and am going though the pains of understanding MB logic.
I have another thread on the noise created my flat run tires.
But the fun continues.
My S400 comes standard with massage a 360 degree camera, lane warning etc. So would you think that....
Steering wheel heater and climate control for the rear seats
Would be standard too.
Well think again. They are not. OK I was stupid for not asking. BUT......
Anyway to get over No 1 I bought some gloves. Problem solved.
No 2 proved not so easy. I put the heater ON and and as one would expect the hot air comes out of the vents. Well not all of them. In fact nothing came out of the rear seat vents. I ran out of ideas so asked my dealer. Seems that when the climate control is in AUTO nothing will come out of the rear vents, even though the front seat vents are pumping out hot air. So you have to switch AUTO off and also change the vent setting out of AUTO too.
Could someone try to make some logic of the above.
