Hi-

I was wondering if anyone believes that Mercedes will eventually come out with a four door version of their new S-Class Coupe? If so, how far in the future is this likely to be?

(I love the S-Class Coupe, but two doors is impossible for me)

That's a quite a bit different car in terms of the styling in my opinion. Just a lot less sporty.

I'm just thinking the S class version of the CLS550. Actually, the CLS would be fine if the interior were a little nicer/cooler. I hate that ipad they've just attached to the dash of all the new cars. What they have going on in the S class is so much nicer.

But if you are serious, which I highly doubt because that's just a weird question, Mercedes also makes the CLS.
There's no reason for them to make an S-coupe - reduced interior space and a shorter roofline cannot define a flagship anything.

lol seems like a dumb question but if you know anything about BMWs, they have a BMW 4 series the coupe, in a 4 gran coupe version coming out. So maybe op meant S class gran coupe

Can’t say the CLS is a flagship since it shares the same wheelbase with the E. The S-coupe SWB is a couple of inches longer with barely adequate rear legroom while the LWB S sedan is almost 9 inches longer with most of the extra inches going to the rear legroom and seating. It wouldn’t be that hard to reconfigure the rear seating a bit to maintain headroom with 4-door S coupe styling and be a flagship version. Since the 2-door S coupe just came out, it could be years down the road and show up as a concept car at some big car show.
