Well I have checked the PS and Self leveling fluid in which both are filled to the correct mark. The whinning increases as the rpms increase. If I am at a stand still and turn left the whine stops. if I turn right or just release the wheel the whinning is back. My filter for the self leveling keeps altering offset from original position. Could a clogged filter cause this?

not the dreaded "newbie" quip

I recall when I was a noob too LOL.....but still, this does seem an odd question to post: I'd hope after selling a 600 the dealer would be more than happy to assist with any and all concerns promptly

my guess is that the o/p is in the wrong forum; he probably has a 221 or 220 and doesn't realize that he is posting in a 222 forum. because, i know if i was to drop ~ $180,000 on a *new* 222 s600, i wouldn't be coming here for advice (no offense, my friends!) but would rather be camped out on the doorstop of the dealerships's general manager looking for answers!!!

Yes if I do recall my profile says "newbie". I was just looking for some answers before I took it in to the dealership but for the record I paid $189,989.99 to be exact. I am 26 years old and yes this is my first MB... Let's just say I ran into some money(alot of it). No big deal on getting answers which is why concerned owners post right? Thanks anyways.

s600tt:

Thanks for joining. Sometimes this crowd is ruff ruff. Just get a stiff upper lip and participate and look for answers. And hopefully you can participate and provide some value to the forum as well.

Let us know what the dealer tells you once you find a fix.

My humble view on this, is that this is a forum for members sharing common interest trying to help eachother.

For it to succeed and grow, it needs to be welcoming and freindly.

A few members have had that happen. We have now seen three cars grenade the engines as a result. Mb even denied warranty claims because they said the owners should have stopped using the car before the engine blew. Be careful here.

Including the transvestites? I wasn't aware they were for sale!

For the record, you never know who you are speaking to. I know Red, in the old days we'd call him a Baron. Today, we call him a tough to understand mega rich b&stard. But for you, you can look him up on Forbes, they rank these things....

You can't purchase one thing he makes...which is not for sale.

It goes really well with toasted bread and a smoked liquid "soy" sauce....

The rest, yea u can have.

$xxxxxxxx.99?

I mean, what a simple way to fix everything. Post the window sticker - next to the car - next to a hand written, dated, page saying "MBWORLD 2015 Happy New Year"

When you ran into the money....did you do so with your body, or were you driving at the time.

These specifics truly can help us diagnose the noise you are hearing.

Of course.

Just prove that you are over 21 year old female and then we can talk turkey.
As of now, you appear to be a young internet rooster without a co*k.

I agree. And, tell the dealer that you want an S550 loaner. If he tries to send you home in a C Class, just say "excuse me?"
