19inch AMG versus 20inch AMG

Hey guys havent posted here in a while now, bought a 2014 S550 with 13,000 miles on it, Sport Pkg and P1 package, love the car a lot. Now i really want to get those 20 inch 14 spoke AMG wheels, but want to ask if anyone tried both 19 and 20 inch on this car, how big of a difference is in a ride quality?

I've tried both on test drive and I didn't notice a big difference. I ended up buying a car with the 20" AMG wheels and the ride is great. I think the W222 suspension setup (non-ABC) is so smooth that it doesn't have an issue with 20" wheels.

I'd say go for it!

I had 19's for 10K miles, and have had 20's for the last.......I don't know how many......but the difference isn't HUGE, I have a 35 side wall on my 265's, but you can get taller sidewalls; might be more comfortable......

agreed with 168: go for it!

One more question though are 2015 S550 come with GoodYear tires instead of Pirelli?

I was a bit surprised when my dealer said a new set of rubber for the 20" wheels was les expensive than for the 19".
