I called my sales guy back and changed from the designo white to ruby black. Why not? I used to have a red/burgundy Lexus that I adored a long time ago...

Here is my build:

1) Premium Package
2) Sports Package with 19" wheels
3) Driver Assist Package
4) Upgraded Sound System
5) HUD
6) 360 camera

Interior is Silk Beige Nappa. Was deciding between that and Nut Brown but I opted for the lighter interior.

Can't wait. I think he said early October... but I honestly can't remember now. I should know more next week.

Ruby black sort of reminds me of Jaguars color Caviar. It will look good with the silk interior. I love all these colors that change during the day depending on the sun or cloudy days.

You're exactly right. Had a friend with a caviar XJL and it is very similar. Beautiful colors.

Can't wait to hear my estimated time... I think my dealer will get back to me today with my slot.

They were so nice, they actually ordered the white with the same specs for me too so I can look at both and decide. However unless the ruby looks way different IRL than I imagined (and in the photos you all posted on the other thread), I am committed to that color. Yahoo!

Your car is an almost twin of my Ruby-Black with beige interior. I have had the car about three months and still, every time I see it in the sun I am glad I bought it (none here in Phoenix, AZ, had to order).
