Anyone have experience negotiating lease extensions w/ MBFS to wait for MY18 S Class delivery? Monthly payment reduction possible? Can the dealer facilitate this on customer's behalf? Heard a 12 month lease on a MY 2017 is not possible.

I have done a 12 month lease with MBFS, but not sure if that program still exists. Also, they have programs for lease extensions when you have ordered a new car. Not sure it takes you out one year however.

Also, when you extend the lease, the monthly payment remains the same. I've tried several times to reduce it for all the obvious reasons, but they will have no part of that. In the end, its been convenient, so its seems fair.

thanks - good input. Do you deal with MB of SF? I moved up from LA. There was a great sales rep there, Leo. Now he's with the Audi store in Concord as finance manager.

I just went through this. MB will extend your lease up to six months if you are waiting on a new MB car, either month to month for six months or by extending for three months with the option to extend it another three months. The payment stays the same and they give you additional mileage allowance.
