Sun Shades - Dumb Question

I left my 2015 S550 parked out in the sun. When I got back to the car, both sunroof shades (front and back), both rear side window shades and the rear window shade were up. I swear I didn't do it (and it would have involved multiple buttons in different locations). I've had the car for a year now and it's never done it before. Is this normal?? Is there some inadvertent key activation that would've done this?

Possibly holding or hitting the lock button? I know it will close the windows and sunroof if left open, don't know about the shades.
