Cooled Front Seats Questions...
1. Is it safe to assume that the Cooled Seats just consist of a fan Pulling/pushing ambient air through the seat bottom and back? My escalade actually has a peltier cooling system.
2. Anyone notice that if you turn on the Passenger cooling on high, you can hear the fan run almost immediately at high speed, however, the drivers seat will not....
3. Can someone confirm if the drivers seat cooling fan is adaptive, meaning, I can hear it go to high speed while driving, but once I slow down or stop, the fan slows down or stops, but the passenger fan will stay on high. ( I did not test the rears yet)
4. I also notice some users that use the heated and cooling buttons the same time to enhance the heating by helping to keep the seat less humid for a lack of better words...

all I know is it doesn't cool the seats, every MB I have had with this option does not work, I have heard there is no actual cooling, just moving ambient air, worthless.....
I've had several American made cars that have actual cooling in the seats that work really well

My escalade actually has a peltier cooling system.Jags use these too...they are the best. In order to help maximize the cooling of your W222 try setting the AC to bilevel and reducing the flow from some of the upper vents, this will help direct cool air under the seats which will be picked up by the fans; it also helps to keep the temp set lower than normal...my driver side is set to 65. The cooling fans are of a new design for the W222, where they initially run to pull the hot air away from the body then after a few minutes will reverse direction and push the air towards the body.

3. Can someone confirm if the drivers seat cooling fan is adaptive, meaning, I can hear it go to high speed while driving, but once I slow down or stop, the fan slows down or stops, but the passenger fan will stay on high. (I did not test the rears yet) This is normal, the fans do not stop but go to low...MB did this to achieve a very quiet cabin when the vehicle is stopped and most ambient noise would be heard. I have asked MB to change this as those of us in southern states/warmer climates need the fans to remain on med or high regardless, if that's what the driver/psngr want.
4. I also notice some users that use the heated and cooling buttons the same time to enhance the heating by helping to keep the seat less humid for a lack of better words...I have heard the same but have not tried this
