Thinkware F770 with Cellink Install question

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to install the Cellink Battery B with Extended battery to power my F770. I have a short drive to work (~30 minutes) so having my F770 record in parking mode drains my battery (to my preset 12 volt cutout setting). I like the idea of having these extended batteries Power my camera during parking mode.

On to my questions:
where should I install/locate the batteries? I like the idea of in the trunk where the tire inflators SHOULD be located (see pic). I like that I won't hear the beeping sound from the batteries and that when I want to recharge them I can swap the input wire to the cig lighter cord and plug into the trunk outlet. I can also likely tap a fuse in the trunk fuse box (provided that one of them is an accessory fuse).
My biggest question is how do I run the battery output wire from the trunk into the cabin? I pulled back some of trunk liner but cannot see where to feed the wire through to get it into the cabin. I know where to run/hide the wire once it is in the rear seat as I already ran the rear camera wire to the front.

Any help would be appreciated. If you know of another place to hide the batteries in the cabin I am all ears!

Thanks!

Today I ran the accessory power wire to charge the cellink battery b. It works great so far. I also know how to run the F770 power wire from the front to the back (hiding it under the door/seal. I'm still not entirely sure how to get the wire from the trunk into the cabin... somehow I have to get through the read seats but I have t figured that out yet.

Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise I will post my solution (when I have one) for anyone looking to do this in the future.

You may want to check your install, you should not be draining the battery that quickly

I have the Blackvue front/rear, and I have mine set for 4 days on parking mode (and the vehicle will sit for more than 4 days), and I still don't run hit the voltage cut off

Thanks for adding your experience! To clarify I have not drained my battery nor had any indication that I hit a low voltage cutoff. I'm sure it also depends on what your voltage cutoff is set to as well. I'm also running both a front and rear camera with parking mode set to motion sensing. There is a lot of motion at work so it records a lot.

I have a short drive in between long parking periods, it's possible that Im not recharging as fast as I am draining.... i.e. 30 minutes of total drive time per day with 23.5 hours of parking recording can affect the battery.

The above said, I like buying toys and the $400 cost of adding a Cellink Battery B was more to give me something to do lol

Matthayes3741, thanks for posting all the information!!! It was also nice of you to post the photos

I have my unit still sitting in the box, waiting for warmer weather to tackle it. I will be purchasing the same Cell Link Battery as you did. The only thing I will be doing differently is using Velcro and attach the C L to the Battery in the trunk.. I hate seeing exposed wires. The unit should be small enough to fit hidden away. Thanks again for the detailed post, I know others will appreciate the time you took as I did...

Sorry, so just to be clear you removed the felt lining and ran the wire along what looks like the floor of the trunk towards the bottom of rear seats?

I add-a-fused to the fuse in the passenger side of the trunk for the cigarette lighter which is an on/off fuse. I was able to run th power cable through a tiny gap behind a rear seat for the child restraint tether to reach the trunk but my 2015 S550 has the reclining executive rear seat package.
