Is LWB standard for 2017

question.

I recently ordered a 2017 S550. Is LWB standard in '17? Reason I ask is the car I originally test drove I had to move the seat up to sit comfortably. I'm 6'4 so definitely something I would have immediately noticed. The car I sat in the day I ordered my new vehicle felt like the seat didn't go back far enough and I was told that's as far as it goes.

Any thoughts?

In the US the W222 has only been sold in LWB. There is also no difference in the seat adjustment range (front) between SWB or LWB

Why would you order a car that you wouldn't be comfortable in?

Btw, every car I sat in and drove before I bought my 2015 ( 2014,2015 & 2017 )...were exactly the same level of comfort. Whoever told you that it didn't go back farther hadn't a clue...typical of car salesman.

Depends where you are I guess. In the UK the 2017 is LWB as standard, but you can order SWB, as I did. I felt no driver geometry difference. So maybe both cars you tried before buying were both LWBs but had their seats in different positions initially giving the illusion of some difference?
To counter this, when trying out new cars, why not take along a tape measure?
