Ouch. The state of those wheels...
At least Tiger Woods had the sense to pull over (or the car did it for him). I barely recognised him. It's made the news in the UK too.

All about nothing. Looks like he had hard contact with a curb.
I find it ridiculous that he was arrested for DUI. We wasn't driving and a reaction to pain meds is plausible after fusion surgery.

Ridiculous? Seriously? What if he hit someone? Another car? A pedestrian? An animal?
He had no right to be driving under the influence of ANY substance that impairs his ability to drive a moving vehicle. He was found asleep after crashing. He had no idea where he was. He deserves to be arrested and locked up. Too bad that won't happen ( being locked up ).
He is a (B) illionaire. Why doesn't he have a driver on payroll???

My issue was another; he wasn't driving. I would agree with you 100% if the cops actually pulled him over but he was parked...
I am not dismissing the story. I have seen people having reactions to meds and quickly fade away before they realized it. They weren't driving though.

Of course people should always act responsibly; unfortunately many don't...

A better story could be that he was a passenger, someone else driving it did the damage, parked it in a bike lane, ran off and then Mr. Woods got behind the wheel just to take a nap...could have happened this way, right? ...
I am glad they arrrested him, more than likely he will get off with a fine, classes and community service. Jail time seems more appropriate as he was a danger to others and himself.

The scariest part is the rims he destroyed were not on the curb side of the car! He had to have crossed into the oncoming traffic side to do that. He is lucky it was 3am and no one was killed!
