I couldn't find anyone that sells the rears and the pictures of the Maybach looks like the rear doors are totally different than ours (longer). I don't think that they will fit just looking at pictures.
If anyone can find some speakers for sale at the right price I may try it out but I think we are SOL.

it makes sense. tweeters are being replaced nothing's added. easy to make a harness for that, which allows a plugnplay install. adding extra 3d subs and roof speakers that require amps is the pain. aftermarket amps help ease that a tad.
so did you retro fit the 3d amps or wire the 3d speakers to aftermarket amp? I'm in the process of doing my audio now and I can't decide what route to take.

I installed these yesterday and I agree; I think they sound better; cleaner crisper highs and higher gain. I felt I needed to dial back the treble on the EQ a little. However I also agree it could all be in my head... Visually they are impressive in any case. Thanks for the video, much appreciated.

I purchased my set from mb-special-offers on ebay. I ordered before I saw your post which would've saved a little money and instilled a bit more confidence in the process.

How pleased are you with them so far?

I just purchased 3D rotary tweeters
for my non-3D w222. The link is below. I will post a review when I receive the speakers and install them. So far communication with the seller has been very good.

EDIT: I am very pleased with this order. If anyone wants to purchase one let me know. They can offer a special price and you can use Paypal instead of providing credit card information through DHGate. He is also attempting to sell it off of Amazon.com (at my suggestion) since he has a sellers account.

Yes, they work identical to factory installed. I will gladly upload a video clip showing how they work if anyone requests it.
I figured they would not sound any worse or degrade the overall sound quality but I am surprised at how much better they sound over stock... it may be some placebo effect but I am VERY happy wih it

Awesome! I ordered mine yesterday. I also just purchased a 2017 e 300. It has the premium 3 package with all the bells and whistles.. only thing I couldn't see myself paying for was the upgraded Bermester system especially when the only thing I liked in it are the rotating tweeters. I think the standard Bermester system sounds good, just wanted that look of the tweeters to compliment the ambient lighting and seems like I'm about to get that now. I'm so excited and thanks for the great post.. it's like the only thing on the interwebs that addresses this option. Good Job!

Yes I did. I actually discovered it there before I discovered this forum. Didn't order until I read your review, it gave me the confidence to order them.

hey man I just got these from nick. My guy installed them and they rotate in and out but they are not lighting up with ambient lighting is there anything I need to do differently or have him check? He tried decoding the lighting system and flashing it but that didn’t work.

Need some assistance with install. My speakers had 2 blue (male/female) plugs for (2wire) audio connection, it seem the ones posted by Ksellers10 had a single black plug.
The install instructions here http://www.gzcarphone.com/installati...ry-tweeter_n24
state to use Mid-range (door panel speaker) as pass through connection with my male/female plugs for new speakers. This leaves original connector for tweeters not used. Note Ksellers10 seem to have only 1 black female connector which I believe he had connected to original male (yellow) tweeter plug, which leaves Mid-range speaker as per original setup.
Any thoughts on this?

I like the concept, but not $600 worth. For $360 I’m nearly twice as interested. More compelling if somehow my stock tweeters were damaged...
