Love it. Never had a major problem, 19,000 Miles has been nothing but smooth.
Only problems I have had are:
-Panoramic Sunroof motor burnt out
-Interior Microphone needed replacing according to the dealer
-Cracked 2 wheels on a pothole in NJ
Other than the above mentioned it's been pretty reliable.

Love mine too. I've only had it for about 2,000 miles, so I can't really speak to reliability, but it's a pleasure to drive.
There are some things I could nit-pick that I would change or add (no cross-collision warning when backing, better uses for the two 12" screens), but they are all really minor. It's a wonderful car.

That is the one feature, that will probably get me into a 2018. GM has had it for years and MB just introduced it with the new E Class last year and the FL 2018 S will have it. Amazing how behind the times this technological juggernaut of a company can be every now and then.

Guys, need your help.
Does your steering wheel have a mild-moderate vibration only at idle when in gear (it immediately goes away once shifted into park)? I'm noticing this in my '17 and my dealer checked a new '17 sedan which was doing the same thing, but it was never an issue with my '16 S-Coupe (the wheel was so smooth at idle when in gear that I couldn't even tell the car was running, as it should be in these cars).
I posted about this in the C217 (S Coupe) forum see here for info:

Thanks for the help

I've only had mine for a week and absolutely love my new S-Class. Haven't admired a car like this in years. I also love how responsive the car is when in sport mode. My wife has a LWB Range Rover and you can definitely tell the lack of technology upgrades, but all in all I'm happy.
Question, why does the auto start cut off when you open the door? Dumbest thing I've seen

I like to hear the exhaust growl. I can't verify this , but I was told that it gets a tad bit better fuel economy in sport, probably due to a less restricted airflow perhaps?
Then there are times I want it to be quiet and occasionally I'll run in comfort/comfort.

I would think that the fuel economy would go down by quite a bit in sport mode because the shift points are so much higher. The engine has to work harder, hence, worse fuel economy.
