Just curious: Does ANYONE find these FL interiors attractive???
These are two of the new interior colors offered on the W222 FL model. Just curious if anyone here finds these attractive. The one is Magma Gray & Espresso Brown (look closely to see the brown tops of the door panels & top of dash) and the other is Mahogany & Silk Beige.

actually, i think benzo calls the first one magma grey/espresso brown. and whilst it is not preferred, it is the interiour i will most likely choose to go with the new 18 lunar blue s560 i will order. it almost looks black in those pictures from the dog. i hope it is indeed more grey and not so black in reality. and i'm not diggin on the crystal grey headliner at all; too many colours going on there. this whole palette of interiour colours is just so disappointing. i hate dropping $120,000 and not being gaga if you know what i mean.

Your feelings are just like mine. When spending the kind of money a new S costs, it would be nice to have the interior/exterior colors be something you REALLY like. I don't claim to be a designer or a color expert, but gray with brown just seems quite odd, even for the Germans. Why not two shades of gray? Even Magma Gray & Black would be better. Even though I hate black trimmed interiors, it would certainly be way better than brown. Oh well.

Have you guys tried sliding the butt part of the seat all the way in?? It's so nice how much extra room you get when you extend it all the way out.....drivers seat I speak of.
I notice instantly whenever I get into a different car, luckily I don't get in many other cars These seats are so comfortable.....if only they were a little softer like Volvo.
I also think the grey/brown looks lame

You are correct, Magma Gray. I'll change it, thanks.

I personally have no opinion on these until I see them in the flesh. I would have never picked the gray/seashell interior from a DOG but liked the look when I saw the car.
The one thing I do know is that Mercedes does not cut popular color choices. They are cut because people don't buy them. Simple as that.
On the positive side, the cost of these interior have been cut in half (which is nice) and my preferred interior is still available. That would be the porcelain white/black.

I amn new to this forum! I was curious about something Wolfman said. I was under the impression that Palladium Silver was a popular color choice. It has been replaced with Selenite gray which appears darker. In general a color pallet which has three blacks in it is not very imaginative. There needs to be more attractive options regarding exterior and interior color choices, in my opinion. And gray/seashell is now gone. In this respect alone, BMW does a better job with their 7 series. I am in the market for a 2018 S63 and count me seriously underwhelmed based on what is in the DOG. Anyway, just my take.

Much like the paints, as much as one may criticize some of choices by mfrs...
Really difficult to judge colors of paint/leathers, etc from computer screens or even paint chips/leather swatches
And need to live w/car ~daily for ?6-24mos, unlike a bespoke shirt, etc
Also, common sense suggests mfrs w/allegedly innumerable choices also have quality challenges of such approaches
Know enough guys who are repeat Ferr buyers who spec their $20Kish paint options and sometimes have laughable quality despite Ferr's lim produc volumes....and obviously dubious safety engineering that goes w/sub-scale cars (similar comments can apply to Bent/RR, just rebadged VWs/BMWs w/similar unimpressive safety tech/engineering even in their larger-scale brands)
