I live in Philadelphia, PA where we get snow. I am considering a purchase of this vehicle, but am concerned about whether this model can be driven in the snow.

Can anyone please provide guidance about how this car performs during inclement weather?

THANK YOU!

Pass and wait for a deal on a 4Matic. If you lived in CA, I would say go for it.... I cant answer the question on MB, but any Rear Wheel drive will perform worse than any AWD. Even with stability controls etc....

Completely agree. If you live where it snows, 4-Matic all the way, don't even consider a car without it.

We have snow 6 months a year (at least feels so, 3 months at least for real). The wife once had a 204 4-Matic for long work trips. If we had snow for more than 6 months, I might consider a 4-Matic. We are allowed to use studded tyres though.

4-Matic certainly drives better in the winter but it is a compromise with other things.

Rain, Mud and Snow / Ice.... 4Matic if you want the Best traction offered for anything other than Dry Pavement. 2 Cents
