S550 sedan
Runflats!

About to order 2018 S class sedan. my previous car had the high performance runflats that wore out at 7000 miles! Replaced with regular runflats which seem to be wearing better. Should I insist on the regular Vs high performance on the new car? Thanks

I have a 2018 on order. My salesman said stay away from the hi performance tires and stick with conventionals. I stayed with 19" wheels with conventional runflats. I liked the looks of the hi performance wheels better, but he convinced me to stay with what I had on my 2015.

Is this for a amg car or a 550?

At the time I placed the order for my 2015, I told the dealer I would not accept RFT, and that I wanted conventionals. He committted to this and it went very smoothly. I believe that many, if not most dealers will do this, especially for repeat customers.
