Burmeister stereo volume
I've noticed since day one of ownership that the volume control (either via the steering wheel or center console) is not linear. When controlling volume, especially near the quieter end of the spectrum, there comes a point where I'm adjusting the volume and for 2 or 3 clicks it doesn't change at all - then suddenly drops down to barely audible on the next click. This is especially irritating when we have clients or passengers in the car and I want music playing, but low enough to still converse with the passengers. The sweet spot for volume doesn't exist - it's either slightly too loud to hear each other talk or too low to hear the music. It's like I have a volume control knob that goes from 1 - 10, but 3 and 4 are missing. Anyone else have this issue?

Maybe try turning off in settings the setting that compensates for background noise, can't remember the name of the setting, but it should say something to do with volume.

Couldn't find the background noise setting, but I changed up the surround sound and where it's focused (to the front seats now) and that seemed to fix it. Thanks.
And don't even even get me started as to how awful Sirius XM sounds. I read somewhere that they only broadcast 10-20% of the full audio for any given song. The comedy channels sound like they're broadcast out of a tin can, located behind a window fan.

Ya, I agree about the XM radio, like that in all cars, I think they screwed up from the start with XM by having too low a band width and horrible sound quality. When my three month trial runs out I'll cancel and mainly stream from my cell phone. The internet radio sounds good through the MB App but is very unreliable at least around here and cuts in and out a lot and is annoying. It was good around NYC when I was just there last weekend.
