Initial Impressions of New MY17
Just took delivery of a MY17.Was in MY15.9G trans feels much better with a more pronounced difference between E and S.Smooth and docile in E,holds shifts longer in S than the MY15.Also I think MB has continued to refine the suspension/tire combo.Came with the Pirelli P7s,which I was concerned about.Track better,more compliant,better steering response than the Michelin MXMs.We'll see.Got a 13% discount.Probably saved 14k or so over a MY18.So far, very pleased.

Thanks.Actually, I've been a Forum member and submitted a few posts.Had a black on black with sport package,19"wheels.Really liked the black/nut brown interior.The real story is that there was only one left east of the Rockies.Dealer really stepped up,did a three way trade to get it and still gave a 12% discount and only $925 dest. charge.Obsidian Black,sport package,19"wheels.MY 15 was almost out of warranty.Decided to put money for extended warranty and new tires toward new one.Leased this time,so I should be good until the next generation is introduced.Rationalization is a wonderful thing!Couldn't be happier!
